Your study planner and progression checker tool
myPlan is a free online progression checker and study planner tool for UNSW students that will help you to create a full academic plan for the remainder of your studies. You will be able to access information on course pre-requisites, historical term offerings and bookmark courses for later, all in one place.
Before jumping into myPlan, ensure you have been enrolled in at least one course on myUNSW for min. 48 hours. You will not be able to access the tool unless you are an enrolled student.
Important notes:
myPlan will not be available for you if you commenced your degree before 2019 or if you are in a Research program, or if you are an exchange or non-award student.
Research students can contact the Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidature team, opens in a new window for support with program progression. If you are studying any other degree and/or started before 2019, refer to your program progression plans or contact The Nucleus: Student Hub for further support.
1. Log on to myPlan
Get to know the platform's terminology by reading through our glossary, opens in a new window.
If you have trouble accessing myPlan, contact us for support.
2. Go to your study planner
Plan your courses or degree requirements using our program progression plans as a guide.
Don't forget to refresh your study plan in myPlan to update your progress.
3. Review your progress through the progression check
Go to 'Track my progress' in myPlan to access your official progress towards the completion of your degree.
