Two carer support policy: review of the need for two care workers in a community setting

The project investigated the requirement for two workers (rather than one) in a community-care setting. ADHC needed to clarify the current operation of service providers’ two-person care policies: to assess the risks given as reasons for the policies; to establish the possible use of equipment and technological solutions and their cost; and to develop training and guidelines.
