Community for Everyone is a project by Side By Side and Hunter Circles in NSW designed to bridge the gap between profoundly isolated people with intellectual disability and their community. The 2-year project aims to enhance the social inclusion and active participation of people with disability by connecting them with volunteer social connectors who share similar interests, fostering social connections and belonging. An inclusive research team of researchers from UNSW Sydney and Flinders University Adelaide are undertaking the two-year action research evaluation to look at how the project is achieving outcomes for people and social connectors.
