Student support services are here for your success

No matter who you are or what you study, you can empower yourself with a range of services that support your development at UNSW. Our support services help you take on any unavoidable personal challenges with study, finances, employment, and life in general.

Equitable learning services

This free and confidential service addresses challenges faced by people who live with physical and mental health conditions or disabilities. You’ll find practical solutions that ensure your studies are not adversely affected.

Peer support

Enjoy settling into university with a connection to a current student who can guide you from your shared perspective. You’ll find mentors who are mature-aged, international, queer, athletic, living with a disability, or tech-focused.

Support for international students

Make the most out of your time in Australia. Find people and resources to guide your transition to this new country, including support with accommodation, lifestyle and recreation, finances and scholarships, career, and academic studies.

Meet your support team

Discuss your situation with a student support adviser in person, in a virtual face-to-face appointment, over the phone or via email. Book single or ongoing appointments - whatever suits you!
