The project is to evaluate the National Alliance of Capacity Building Organisations (NACBO) projects. UNSW Sydney and Flinders University are conducting the evaluation. NACBO is a network of six not-for-profit, values-based organisations that are committed to the social and economic inclusion of people with disability to enable them to lead fulfilling lives. The Alliance and its individual organisations promote people with disability as valued citizens, build competencies and skills of people with disability and their families and supporters through education, follow up, peer groups, and leadership development. The research includes co-design, document analysis and fieldwork. It will draw conclusions about the impact of the NACBO values-based capacity building model and activities on enabling social and economic contribution and leadership of people with disability and their families.
