Gateway - Years 10-12

Personalise

An inclusive institution where our student body reflects the diversity of the broader population.

We work with students and schools (Gateway partner schools) that are underrepresented in higher education and at UNSW. Our Gateway partner schools have some of the most diverse student populations and include high proportions of students from low-SES backgrounds, regional and remote areas, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and migrant and refugee backgrounds.

Many students aspire to attend university however there are significant barriers for students from educationally disadvantaged contexts - primarily related to ATAR achievement - which can make university unattainable. The Gateway Admission Pathway and Program addresses this by working with students early in their academic journey to enhance their educational outcomes and offers an equitable admission pathway to UNSW.
