The UNSW Women’s Wellbeing Academy (WWBA) is open to any individual, group or collaborator connected with UNSW, whose research, teaching and practice falls within the area of women’s wellbeing.
The WWBA showcases the extensive and diverse work undertaken at the University, and encourages multi-disciplinary collaboration within and between universities, industry and government to advance gender equity and equality. It is a space that enables those who work in the broad area of women’s wellbeing to connect and collaborate.
The areas encompassed by Academy members include but are not limited to:
- Reproductive health
- Mental health
- The built & natural environment
- Domestic and family violence
- Sexually transmitted diseases
- Development contexts
- Indigenous and minority communities
- Financial inclusion
- Cancers
- Sexuality and relationships
- The justice system
- Nutrition
- Housing and homelessness
- Childcare
- Poverty
- Dementia and aging

Type of membership
We have various types of membership to allow for UNSW staff and students as well as collaborators to join the WWBA.
UNSW member
Individuals or groups within UNSW working on or interested in women's wellbeing.
Affiliate member
External, non-UNSW staff or students who are connected to UNSW through collaborative work/projects/research.
