UNSW collaborates with Parents at Work to provide support to UNSW parents and soon-to-be parents, on topics such as Preparing for Parental Leave, Returning to Work After Parental Leave, and Managing Mental Wellbeing for You and Your Family.
In this interactive group session run by experts in parental leave transition Parents At Work, experienced coaches will provide practical tools and insightful tips that will support you, your family and your career as you prepare to go on parental leave. Whether it’s your first pregnancy, second or more, it is important to plan and prepare for a smooth transition and set yourself and your family up for a strong foundation on your return.

Returning to Work after parental leave can be both an exciting and challenging time with new routines to be navigated along with a mixture of emotions. This session will help you plan and prepare for your return to work. In this interactive group session run by experts in parental leave transition Parents At Work, experienced coaches will provide essential and informative tips on how to effectively manage your return to work. If you’ve already returned to work, this session will help to explore what is and isn’t working and re-evaluate what you need to make the return to work experience a positive one.
