This unique clinic offers a specialty service for patients who are short-sighted (myopic), or at risk of becoming short-sighted (myopic). The clinic will offer a variety of treatment options that have been shown through research studies to reduce or stop the progression of myopia, including specialty glasses, contact lenses and eye drops.
A typical appointment lasts two hours, and includes a detailed case history, as well as a comprehensive assessment of the eyes’ ability to focus and align, various biometry measurements, and ocular imaging.
We can co-manage patients with local optometrists; we will perform tests specific to myopia development and recommend individualised treatment options.
