Dr. Pete Williams from the Karolinksa Institute in Sweden will be visiting UNSW on October 16th 2024. Please join us for his seminar presentation entitled "Targeting NAD and NMNAT2 for neuroprotection in glaucoma" from 11am-12pm in the Level 3 Seminar Room (Room 3.030) of the Rupert Myers Building (North Wing).
Pete Williams is an Associate Professor and Research Group Leader for glaucoma research at Karolinska Institutet and St. Erik Eye Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. His research team explores mechanisms of neurodegeneration and how these can be targeted for neuroprotection. A current major focus of Pete’s lab is the role of NAD in glaucoma.
