UNSW Advantage recognises co-curricular activities and professional development opportunities available at UNSW. There are hundreds of opportunities to choose from, you can pick what’s right for you based on your areas of interest. You receive formal recognition for your participation on your Australian Higher Education Graduate Statement (AHEGS) when you graduate. You can use your AHEGS in job applications to showcase your involvement and achievements whilst at uni.

UNSW Advantage aims to:

The Australian Higher Education Graduate Statement (AHEGS) is a secondary transcript issued to students when you graduate, providing a snapshot of your graduate achievements. It aims to enhance graduate mobility and employability in the global marketplace.

Your AHEGS is proof of the co-curricular activities you were involved in during your time at university to highlight your broad range of experiences and achievements. It’s an opportunity to connect with and learn from professional or academic staff as well as your peers to be actively involved in the UNSW community making meaningful connections along the way. Employers are looking for well-rounded candidates and your participation in these programs can enhance your job application.
