Fintech AI Innovation Consortium (FAIC)
The FAIC is a new initiative building on UNSW's strength in digital innovation technologies and AI applications and is driven by the Engineering and Business faculties.
FAIC's vision facilitates the building of effective AI solutions in a FinTech context via a multidisciplinary effort where different experts contribute their expertise from different areas.
FAIC will bring together fragmented academic research areas under one roof and act as a facilitator for multidisciplinary teams from both business and computing fields.

A number of research projects have been initiated with sponsorship from several industry partners notably Westpac, BrewAI, Cognitivo, AWS and Databricks.

FAIC supports research projects that apply several state-of-the-art innovations in the FinTech sector. These projects involve relevant research teams investigating new methods and techniques for building and managing AI Systems.
