Yash
Hey first years! I'm Yash and I'm a second year currently studying Advanced Science (Hons.)/Computer Science with a major in Advanced Statistics. I find it helpful to have a conversation with a senior student from the engineering faculty as I get more insight to how to plan my degree as well as advice & tips from their experience that can make my life easier - I'd love to chat more with you whether it be getting through first year, any tips/advice for study or even about myself and what I want to do.
Doha
Hi! I'm Doha, I'm studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Chemical Engineering and in Business Analytics.
Outside of my academic studies, I have been a member of the Sunswift Racing team since last year, which is a project under the ChallEng Program that involves working on a solar-powered electric vehicle that we get to race in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. I am also Treasurer at Capital W, a UNSW Women in Business society.
In my spare time I love to read, work out, play games and binge films from the 90s.
I look forward to meeting you at the Social Study Hub!
