Information Governance at UNSW
UNSW is committed to maintaining the security, integrity and appropriate management of its data.
UNSW defines information governance as a 'comprehensive framework of documented principles, policies, processes and technologies to manage information and ensure it is handled responsibly, securely, and in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.'
Information governance includes information security, privacy, data management, research data management, information management, recordkeeping and the acceptable use of information.
UNSW is in the process of consolidating and revising its information governance policies and procedures.
