Artist statement

Sinless confessional (I feel nothing until I feel everything) is a suite of composite mixed-media drawings, confessions and memories collaged onto nine sheets of paper. The series examines bodily shame and inner turmoil, focusing on Catholicism, family, fatphobia and the myth of the ‘beach body.’ Through the assemblage of disparate materials and concepts, a fragmented map of thoughts and confessions emerges.
