The Tim Olsen Drawing Prize celebrates students who use drawing as a significant part of their artistic practice. This prize has been continuously supported by Olsen Gallery for over 20 years, encouraging and supporting young and emerging artists to build careers as professional practicing artists.

The 2023 Tim Olsen Drawing Prize

17 students were selected as finalists for this exhibition, on display at AD Space from 27 September - 6 October 2023.

Harrison Rae was awarded the prize for their work Busby’s Labourers. Jordan Sharp and Lily Peng were also highly commended artists.

The 2022 Tim Olsen Drawing Prize

The work of 21 students were exhibited at AD Space from 28 September – 9 October 2022.

The winner of the prize was Amelia van der laan de Vries for their work Reproductive Behaviour of Fish Stage 1 and 2.
