Artist statement
This work explores the landscape of the everyday capturing the buzzing energy of my urban home. Familiar scenes of my daily commute and the school run were reimagined using projection. The inherent abstract forms of the architectural elements drive the creative process. Working with projection allowed a focus on colour and abstraction. The instinctual process the end itself, a dance over paper.
