STUDENT'S ARTWORK

ARTIST STATEMENT

I aimed to tell a short story of a boy who is waking up from an accident. I used symbolism within the boy's imagined world, the broken clock, the red slug looking things and the well represents something in the real world. For my animation, I used cel-based animation which were drawn digitally with a graphics tablet on Clip Studio Paint and then I edited it in Adobe After Effects.

Artwork medium: Clip Studio Paint, Adobe After Effects, graphics tablet

ARTIST INTRODUCTION

Hi I'm Shogo, and I'm a bachelor of media 1st year student. I've done motion graphics and kinetic typography animation in the past but this is my first cel-based animation project I have worked on. I hope you will like it :).
