Artwork Title: Art Deco Lightsaber
Inspired by Star Wars and the Art Deco movement, I've decided to bring both worlds into this artwork. The materials the lightsaber is appeared to be made of (leather, chrome, gold, obsidian) are reminiscent to the luxurious characteristics of the Art Deco design.
This whole artwork was created and modelled using Maya, a 3D software, including the different objects in the background.
Hello, my name is Matthew Chiu Lo, and I am currently taking the Bachelor of Media Arts in UNSW. I love 3D modelling & animation, and creating different objects/scenes. It's always been a dream of mine to work in movie companies, and hopefully one day I'll see my name in the end-credits of a movie.
