The UNSW Mathematics Society (MathSoc) is a student society affiliated with the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW Sydney. However, anyone interested in maths can join. MathSoc is one of the largest societies at UNSW, with over 3000 members – membership spans from first year students to school staff!
UNSW MathSoc 2025 Aims:
- To provide a platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students to explore their passion in existing and new areas of mathematics.
- To inform STEM-related opportunities and provide development in career, social and academic outcomes.
- Support students in their mathematics studies and provide a safe environment to understand and cultivate knowledge.
- To extend our community to all mathematics and math-adjacent degrees across UNSW.
