Abstract:
Klaus Roth was one of the greatest mathematicians of the second half of the twentieth century. In this talk, we shall talk a little about his career, discuss some of his many interesting ideas and his influence in the subject, and focus on his career long obsession with limitation to the regularity of discrete systems.
