Step 1

Ensure that you are connected to the internet e.g. personal hotspot or home network.

Note: Instruction steps and images may vary slightly depending on the device version/type.

Step 2

Navigate to Clearpass QuickConnect app page in the Google Play Store Click Install

Note: Make sure you do not click 'OK' in the app yet.  Proceed to step 3 instead.

Step 3

Open the Google Chrome browser and navigate to the GetOnline (https://www.unsw.edu.au/get-online) website, and select Get online.

Step 4

Read the Terms and Conditions and select I agree.  Then, select Next.

Step 5

Select the type of device you would like to register to the UNSW WiFi network.

Step 6

Sign in by entering your zIDad.unsw.edu.au and password.  Follow through the MFA process when prompted.

Step 7

Select the link I have already installed QuickConnect.  This will download the certificate called 'quick1x.networkconfig',

Step 8

Select Install Network Profile

Step 9

Install the certificate by tapping on the certificate.  This will open the Clearconnect Application.  Select Allow.

Step 10

Once the onboarding wizard finishes loading select OK.  You will now be securely connected to the Eduroam WiFi network every time you are at a participating institution.
