Step 1
Ensure that you are connected to the internet e.g. personal hotspot or home network.

Read the Terms and Conditions and select I agree.
Select, Next.

Step 4
Select the type of device you would like to register to the UNSW WiFi network.

Step 5
Sign in by entering your zID@ad.unsw.edu.au and password.
Complete the MFA process when prompted.

Step 6
On the UNSW Onboard Page, select Install Profile.
Select ‘Allow’ to download the configuration profile.
If you have stolen device protection on - About Stolen Device Protection for iPhone – Apple Support (AU), opens in a new window. You will be subject to a one hour hold before you can continue with the set up process. If this happens, please start the hour hold and restart from step 1 after the hour hold.


Step 7
Once the configuration profile is downloaded, in the settings app, navigate General > VPN & Device Management.

Step 8
Select the UNSW eduroam enrolment profile.
Select Install.

Step 9
Enter your passcode if prompted.
Select Install in the pop up.

Step 10
Select Install to trust the certificate “UNSW Root Certification Authority”.
Select Install on the pop up.

Step 11
Select Done.
Once this process is complete, you will be securely connected to the eduroam Wi-Fi network every time you are at participating institutions.
Note: You will need to turn iCloud Private Relay off to ensure access to internet access to eduroam.
