Step 1

Ensure that you are connected to the internet e.g. personal hotspot or home network.

Step 2

Open your web browser, navigate to the GetOnline (https://www.unsw.edu.au/get-online) website, and select Get online.

Step 3

Read the Terms and Conditions and select I agree.  Then select, Next.

Step 4

Select the type of device you would like to register to the UNSW WiFi network.

Step 5

Sign in by entering your zID@ad.unsw.edu.au and password. Follow through the MFA process when prompted.

Step 6

On the UNSW Onboard page, select installing the profile will configure your device.  

Step 7

Select Allow on the download prompt

Step 8

Once the configuration profile is downloaded, in the settings app, navigate to General > VPN & Device Management

Step 9

Select the UNSW Eduroam enrolment profile and Install.

Step 10

Select Install to confirm installation of the profile

Step 11

When the profile has been installed select Done.  You will now be securely connected to the Eduroam WiFi network every time you are at a participating institution.

Step 12

If you receive this notice, select Install

Step 13

You are now connected to Wi-Fi
