Combine the influential social science of economics, with advanced skills in mathematics and an Honours research project. This renowned double degree equips you with analytical and statistical skills that will set you apart from the crowd and prepare you for diverse careers.
Economists focus on the roles of incentives, resource constraints, laws, customs, and institutions. Through the Bachelor of Economics, you’ll explore how the decisions of institutions and individuals interact to determine outcomes for the economy and society. Mathematics and statistics are essential to advanced financial and economic modelling, making Advanced Mathematics a natural complement to Economics.
If you’re interested in the increasing range of quantitative careers in areas such as finance and environmental modelling, this degree offers a strong foundation.
Key features
Shape a degree to suit your goals

Integrated practical experience
Both programs incorporate practical and professional experience. The Bachelor of Economics offers opportunities for internships, group consulting projects, and global practicums, while the Bachelor of Advanced Science includes for-credit work placements and research internships.
