Program structure
The Master of Project Management at UNSW Canberra is a one-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) online degree. Students will complete 48 Units of Credit (UOC).
You’ll explore core areas like risk management, procurement, project planning and leadership, all crucial for managing complex projects. This postgraduate degree includes four core courses and a range of electives, allowing you to specialise in areas that align with your career goals.
You’ll also have the option to undertake a research project, applying your knowledge to real-world challenges. With a curriculum focused on practical skills and innovative methodologies, you’ll graduate ready to lead projects across any industry.

Research Project - 12 UOC
The option of undertaking a research project is available to students who obtain a Distinction average or better in four courses and is subject to approval by the Program Authority. The project is recommended for those with a strong interest in pursuing original research in a particular area or intending to undertake a higher research degree qualification. Students undertaking the project are unable to enrol in courses from other coursework programs.
