I am an adjunct full Professor of Statistics at the school of Mathematics and statistics and a senior Principal research scientist at CSIRO's Data61, Australia's science agency. My research is focussed primarily on the development of Bayesian models and computational methodology to solve real world problems. My current interest include developing Bayesian semiparametric models; computational methods for large spatial data arising from medical images; approximate Bayesian inference methods and various applications of Bayesian methodology to real world problems, and more recently, developing methods to convert text into data to detect unconscious bias in languages.
