Dr Yan Zhu
I obtained my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Passionate about making the world a better place, I decided to pursue a master's degree in École Polytechnique of France on renewable energy science and technology, with my master thesis completed in Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore. Afterwards, I obtained a PhD degree from the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at UNSW. I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the ACDC research team of UNSW. My research has been focusing on the development of novel characterisation techniques to improve the quality of photovoltaic materials and devices.
