I am an Associate Lecturer in the UNSW School of Built Environment. I joined UNSW in 2022 as a sessional staff before becoming a full-time academic in 2024. Prior to my career in academia, I worked thirteen years in the industry as a construction manager and quantity surveyor. Within this period, I also worked closely with government and not-for-profit organisations to champion the well-being of youth in the construction industry.
I am fascinated by the overwhelming capacity of the construction industry to create value in the society through the provision of jobs and skills development opportunities, the development and maintenance of the built environment, and the facilitation of the operations of all other sectors of the economy.
I have received awards and recognition for my research and social impact in health and safety, sustainability, digitalisation, and stakeholder management within the construction industry.
