Samaneh Setayandeh is a Research Fellow in the Nuclear Engineering Group at UNSW, holding a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Griffith University (2021). Her research centres on the physics of energy-related materials, such as superconductors and hydrogen storage materials, and the degradation mechanisms of materials used in harsh environments. She utilizes atomic-scale simulations, often in combination with experimental techniques, to achieve these insights.
