Rodica Ramer is a Professor of Microelectronics with the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. Her research interests include:
- Microwave, millimetre-wave, terahertz technologies devices and components
- RF MEMS switches and integrated switch matrices
- RF MEMS phase shifters and tunable filters
- CMOS integrated RF MEMS
- Reconfigurable devices and integrated blocks
- Microwave antennas

Responsible for RF, microwave and millimetre-wave engineering program, microwave antennas and electromagnetics.
