Dr Rafael Zambelli Pinto
Dr Rafael Zambelli Pinto is a Research Associate in the School of Health Sciences. In this role, his responsibilities include overseeing clinical trials conducted at the Centre for Pain IMPACT. He is a physiotherapist by background and completed his PhD at the University of Sydney in 2013. Regarding his past work experiences, Dr. Zambelli worked as a project manager at Pain Management Research Institute, University of Sydney, at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, Australia (2013-2014), as a lecturer at the Sao Paulo State University, Brazil (2014-2017) and as a senior lecturer at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil (2017-2023). He is spending his sabbatical year at the Centre for Pain IMPACT. Currently, he is the secretary of the International Society of Physiotherapy Journal Editors (ISPJE) and the editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy (BJPT).
