Professor Pradeep Ray

Pradeep Ray is an Honorary Professor at the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is the founder of the International Initiative for ubiquitous Healthcare (u-Health) that is setting up a chain of u-Health research centers called Asia-Pacific ubiquitous Healthcare Research Centre (APuHC) that was designated in 2013 as the WHO Collaborative Centre of eHealth in UNSW (apps.who.int/WHOCC/). He is a Fellow of IET. He has more than 250 refereed publications with an h-index of 44. Pradeep Ray has been the founder of IEEE Healthcom (IEEE International Conference on eHealth networking, applications and services) and the Chair of Steering committee from 2000-2019.
Pradeep Ray founded in 2016 the Centre For Entrepreneurship (cfe,ji.sjtu.edu.cn) and has been leading several initiatives on technology entrepreneurship and innovation for healthcare and sustainable development that led to the publication of 4 edited books since 2020 (details in pradeep.apuhc.org).
He has a Ph.D in Computing Sciences from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Australia , Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from BHU-IT, Banaras, India.
