PhD (Feb 2018) in Medical Sciences, UNSW and Neuroscience Research Australia, Sydney, Australia.
Negin is an early career postdoctoral researcher at NeuroRecovery Research Hub, School of Psychology, UNSW and Neuroscience Research Australia with a PhD in Medical Sciences and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
She has been awarded a two-year postdoctoral fellowship from the Craig H Nielsen Foundation (USA) to develop and test a brain-computer interface neurofeedback intervention for people with neuropathic pain following spinal cord injury. This novel approach is the focus of her research in which individuals will be trained to gain control over their brain activity using a neurofeedback system and to ultimately reduce their pain.
