Mee Ling is a Senior Lecturer and Group Leader of the Vaccine Immunogenomics group within the Immunovirology and Pathogenesis Program (IVPP) at the Kirby Institute. Her group utilises the fine needle biopsy (FNB) technique to study the immune responses occuring in human axillary lymph nodes following vaccination. During her PhD, Mee Ling investigated the role of CD4+ T cells in primary vaccination with Vaccinia virus and she studied the differences between the primary CD4+ T cell response to Vaccinia and HIV-1 infection.
