Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes (CLEX)

Dr. Marzie Naserikia joined the PhD program at the Climate Change Research Centre at UNSW in 2020. She completed her PhD in 2023 and is now a postdoctoral research associate at UNSW, working on urban heat adaptation and mitigation using remote sensing and observational data. Marzie is also interested in the application of Geographic Information Systems, machine learning, and satellite imagery in the spatial analysis of urban areas.
