Dr Katherine Dafforn

I hold an adjunct position with the Applied Marine and Estuarine Ecology lab in the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences.

I currently work as a marine environmental scientist and science communicator at Macquarie University. I'm a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and a member of the Centre for Smart Green Cities. I'm also a researcher at the Sydney Institute of Marine Sciences, where I am Deputy Director of the Sydney Harbour Research Program. My primary research focus is human impacts in the marine environment.
