Professor Jennie Granger
Jennie Granger is a Professor of Practice at the School of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation UNSW Business School. She specializes in contemporary tax system and administration issues and also has a strong interest in leading transformative change in legacy organisations and fostering global principles of responsible business practice in leading and governing organisations. She teaches aspiring leaders in the AGSM's innovative course Law, Regulation and Ethics how to manage their organisation’s governance legally and ethically.
Jennie is a leading expert in revenue compliance strategy and highly regarded for her expertise in leading large-scale public-sector change and introducing digital innovation. She has led at the most senior levels of the Australian and British Civil Service. Her roles included the Australian Taxation Office’s first Second Commissioner Compliance and a Commissioner and Director General of the law enforcement division of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs in the UK. She was a Strategic Advisor to the International Monetary Fund across many years. In 2018 she was appointed to the then new role of Professor of Practice at UNSW Business School.
