Essam earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2014, a M.Sc. degree in Information Systems in 2010 and a B.Sc. in Information Systems and Technology in 2003.
Currently, Essam is a Lecturer with the School of Systems and Computing, University of New South Wales Canberra. Essam's research primarily focuses on Human-Autonomy Interaction and Swarm Intelligence, demonstrating a deep commitment to advancing knowledge in these fields.
