Mr Craig Smith

Craig Smith is the Clincal Campus Manager for the South West Sydney Clinical Campuses and is responsible for the delivery of UNSW programs at the south western Sydney sites. Craig commenced his career as an epidemiologist working in public health units in rural NSW before roles at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners as the National Manager for New Media. Craig returned to the NSW Health system in 2002 working in Population Health at Liverpool Hospital before taking on joint roles managing the Clinical School, the Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre and the Discipline of Medicine at the Hospital. Most recently he has taken on the roles of Clinical Campus Manager in south western Sydney and as Manager of the Discipline of Medicine at UNSW Medicine & Health. 

During his time at UNSW, Craig has been responsible for a number of key projects including the development of an 18-site videoconference network across the south west and the delivery of the Ingham Institute Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre and for the COVID-19 Vaccination program for UNSW students.
