Dr Charitha de Silva
Dr Charitha de Silva is the Associate Head of School (Education) and a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of New South Wales. His particular areas of research expertise are in wall-bounded flows, turbulent structure, microfluidics/biofluids and advanced flow diagnostics (particle image velocimetry). He is a member of the School's Flow Noise Group and the Vision Fluid Dynamics Research groups.

Research Collaboration
Dr de Silva collaborates with several active researchers from the University of Melbourne (Melbourne Fluids Group), the University of Sydney, the University of Adelaide, and RMIT. Internationally, he has joint research projects and/or publications with leading world-class experts in fluid dynamics and multiple institutions in Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Norway, and England.
