Professor Brian Uy was appointed Scientia Professor of Structural Engineering in 2023. He was Professor of Structural Engineering and Head of the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Sydney from 2016-2022. Brian is President-Elect (2025) and Vice President (Australasia and South East Asia) of The Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) and has served as a Trustee Board Member since 2022.
