This study intends to investigate the human experience in residential architecture, focusing on the user’s perspective to create a meaningful environment based on phenomenological philosophy as conceptual and methodological framework. The study attempts to bridge the gap between physical properties and experiential qualities by proposing a design approach that can be used to enhance human experience in architectural practice.
