I pursued my Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Animal Behaviour and Conservation at Queen’s University, Canada. I then stayed at Queen’s to do my MSc in reproductive trade-offs. I have my PhD from UNSW on the evolution of reproductive strategies and sexual conflict. Beyond my research, I am also a science communicator focusing on making science accessible. I produce my own podcast "Convos with Chordates", write blogs on how to succeed in academia, have been invited to several radio shows such ABC Sydney, and have presented at festivals such as Splendour in the Grass, Sydney Comedy Festival, and World Science Festival. I always strive to communicate my research and academic experience in a fun and interactive. Currently, I am a Senior Lecturer at UNSW for evolution and ecology courses.
