CPHCE Annual Forum 2023
The CPHCE Annual Forum 2023 was successfully held on 31st October 2023 at the Galleries Combined (1&2) Room at John Scientia Building, UNSW.
The first session of the Forum opened by HERDU Director Fiona Haigh following with the ‘Welcome to Country’ by Aunty Lola. Acting Executive Director Margo Barr and Director Freddy Sitas addressed on ‘CPHCE - Year in Review’. Emeritus Professor Mark Harris presented the “Ian Webster’ Oration on ‘Primary health care and equity: a journey’.
After morning tea, CPHCE team Cathy O'Callaghan, Jane Taggart & Catherine Spooner presented around the theme of ‘Primary Health Care’ during the second session of the Forum. Q&A for these presentations was carried out afterwards by Joel Rhee via online tool Slido.
Plenary discussion was facilitated by the Chair Professor Michael Kidd with four panel members each representing School of Population Health, UNSW Sydney, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network and Agency for Clinical Innovation. Five CPHCE Partnership Awards were also presented by Professor Michael Kidd to our collaborators at the end of the Forum.
