AGSM @ UNSW Business School’s MBAX ranked 10th in the Financial Times 2025 Online MBA Rankings.
AGSM is the only school in the Asia Pacific region to be included in the FT’s latest ranking of the top 15 global online MBA, opens in a new window programs released today.
“AGSM has once again ranked among the top global Online MBA programs by the Financial Times, reinforcing our role in shaping the next generation of business leaders,” says Professor Frederik Anseel, Dean, UNSW Business School.
“Our focus is not only on academic excellence but also on equipping graduates with the skills to build rewarding, successful careers and drive economic growth and societal progress in an evolving global business landscape,” he says.
“We continue to refine our curriculum in collaboration with industry leaders and researchers to ensure that AGSM graduates are not only advancing their careers but also contributing to economic prosperity and social change," says Prof. Anseel.
“By bringing together professionals from industries such as technology, social impact, law, finance, and public policy, we ensure our graduates are prepared to lead across sectors and address complex global challenges.”
The latest Financial Times rankings use indicators such as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), program diversity, research rank, international faculty, salary increase, and more to assess the world’s top online MBA programs of today.
“It’s difficult to highlight just one or two factors that set our MBA program apart—there are so many elements that make it distinctive among global programs,” says Jeremy Grace, Director of Part-Time MBA Programs at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
“Our sector diversity, for instance, is a defining feature of the AGSM experience. In our classrooms, you’ll find a broad mix of professionals from industries including health, government, finance, defence, entrepreneurship, NPOs—and even a trained Shakespearean actor. These post-experience students bring unique perspectives to every discussion, enriching the learning environment.”
“That’s why we refer to our professors as facilitators—because learning here is a dynamic, collaborative process. The same is true for students pursuing MBA specialisations in areas such as Change, Cybersecurity and Leadership, Finance, Law, Social Impact, Sustainability and Inclusive Business, or Technology. This diversity of thought and experience strengthens both learning and the overall student experience.”
“AGSM students also benefit from international course opportunities, travel, and exchange programs. And being part of a globally ranked institution like UNSW means they’re immersed in an ecosystem of entrepreneurial thinking, sustainability, cutting-edge technology, ESG, and net zero teaching—fundamental elements of our DNA,” he says.
