Mathematics and Statistics students receive awards for excellence

On Tuesday 2 May the School of Mathematics and Statistics held its annual prize-giving ceremony to award an exceptional group of undergraduate and honours students from the 2022 round of awards.
Certificates were conferred to the outstanding group of students by Head of School Professor Adelle Coster and Deputy Head of School Professor Josef Dick.
The awards recognised excellence across different stages of Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics and Statistics, and included awards for the top performers of the 2022 Simon Marais Competition.
