Meet the speakers:
Peta MacGillivray (BA/LLB; Grad. Dip Legal Prac; LLM; PhD Candidate) is a Kalkutungu and South Sea Islander lawyer and researcher, and the Yuwaya Ngarra-li Youth and Legal Advisor based at UNSW.
Vanessa Hickey is a Project Officer with the Yuwaya Ngarra-li partnership at the Dharriwaa Elders Group. She is a Gamilaraay mother of four who has been working with the Dharriwaa Elders Group since 2017.
Keziah Bennett-Brook is a Torres Strait Islander woman, Program Head of The George Institute’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program, Indigenous representative on the Australasian Injury Prevention Network Executive and Board Member of Hepatitis NSW.
Samantha Rich is a freelance Architectural Designer and Researcher for the Yuwaya Ngarra-li community led partnership and a proud Wiradjuri woman.
Ty Madden works on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program under the Injury Division at The George Institute. Ty is a proud Gadigal man with years of experience working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
