Our Student Services Manager Julie Hebblewhite retired last week after taking up a voluntary redundancy.
Julie joined UNSW Mathematics and Statistics in 2007, but has worked at UNSW for close to three decades.
In her time at UNSW, Julie has held positions in several different areas of the university, including in Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, the Business School, and the Faculty of Law.
"Julie’s knowledge of the university is extraordinary", said Head of School Bruce Henry. "Those of us who worked closely with Julie were always impressed with her knowledge and competence in dealing with a wide range of matters".
School Manager Suzie Scandurra added "Julie’s wisdom and knowledge have been an integral part of our School and she will be sincerely missed".
In her role as Student Services Manager, Julie assisted a broad range of staff members and students, and was well respected for her knowledge and competence in many areas.
We thank Julie for her extensive contributions to the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and wish her an absolutely wonderful retirement.
