Rob Brander has just co-edited a special volume of the Journal of Coastal Research with Professor Andy Short called 'Stories from the Field: 50 Years of Coastal Fieldwork 1970-2020'. Over 75 stories and 50 field photos are contained within the volume and capture the extreme locations and conditions that often result in crazy situations that any field scientist can relate to.
